Pushing myself out of the door….

Morning. Bit of a struggle this morning, but I made it. Again, one of those mornings where the temptation to stay in rather than go out on a cold, windy day was too great. But it’s a case of pushing myself. Not looking for excuses to stay in.

After all, it’s the weekly peer support meeting and I’m helping to facilitate once again. Such is the enjoyment of these Thursday mornings that I can use that as a positive. A reason to turn that key in the door and walk to the bus stop.

And of course, I’m seeing some wonderful people who have, or who are, going through similar morning dilemmas to myself. That, in itself, is a source of positivity and enlightenment.

So, here I am on a warm, heated train, pushing myself to enjoy the day. It shouldn’t have to be like this, but there’s no other way.

Enjoy your day
