Some recompense has come my way after a pretty rubbish day. An acquaintance of mine part owns a greyhound, which was running at a UK track this afternoon. I was cursing my day so far, luck seemed to be out, when I walked past the local betting shop.
I thought, in for a penny, in for a pound. I put some money on the dog to win, and would you believe it….the dog won! I ended up with £60 more than I had an hour previously. Unbelievable. Perhaps I used up my bad luck and it was time to get some good luck today. And how. Fantastic stuff.
Who says that life is dull? My life certainly isn’t! There’s something always happening, good, bad or indifferent. It has taken a four legged animal who chases after a pretend hare to give me a boost. Unexpected and very welcome!
